Idea: Preset lists for each parameter (doable or not?)

Im interested in this idea, and I appreciate if someone could let me know is this doable and how hard/easy it would be to implement this idea.
Essentially the idea is to have preset lists for each parameter.
for example say plugin has 5 parameters, and every parameter would have its own preset list, and you can then switch between different positions for one parameter without effecting other parameters, using midi program change. I want to tweak each parameter into many sweet spots and then try different combinations by switching thrue preset lists.
implementation Suggestion: Maybe it could be a plugin wrapper that allows up to 10 parameters to have their own preset lists, and every preset list can be linked to midi program change?
