Excellent! Thank you once again.
D/L'd and I will try it once the household wakes up and I can make some noise.
Sorry to be dumb, but where do we get your cursors from?
(grin) found your link!!!
Still can't make my screen look like yours, but I am working on it....

Awesome theme!
I was happy with Rado but this is even better.
Things are a little small on my screen, The TCP buttons primarily, but I think I will get used to it.

Wow... This is awesome on my 40". My favourite theme yet... For any DAW!
I would love an option to hide the I/O and AUTO parts of the mixer since the mixer is quite tall, but I'll probably use this theme 100% from now on anyway.
Congrats everyone, and thank you st. Nick!

ok, i just loaded this fantastic theme and had a few questions, first off thank you Nick it honestly looks very professional and (expensive)
1.Is there a minimum resolution for this theme? Im trying it on a laptop that has 1280x800 res and the transport bar is messed up? (things on top of each other)
2. How do i get this theme to look exactly like your picture, i looked at both the need help links at the top of the page, is the rado 4 installation procedure help page info still used to set up this theme? when i unziped this theme i see a cursor folder but not a toolbar actions list or toolbar like the need help info?
Thanks again for your hard work and talent.

Hi Nick!
Congratulations! This is the best Reaper theme I used so far, really incredible! My new definitive "default" theme for sure...
Professional looking and still very usable.
BUT...
I must admit there is a little thing that really bothers me, the only thing that I find really distracting... It's about pan knobs! I use Dual panning, and having two pan knobs that do the same thing, but they look completely different really makes me cringe. Left pan is a orange slider, right pan is a gray/blueish knob. I know basically it's the ideal setup for "Stereo pan" where you have the pan slider and the "width" knob, but for dual panning it's so distracting...
Is it possible for you to do a future update, with dual pan layout, something that resembles Protools dual pan knobs, or Cubase dual pan sliders. I can provide you the graphics if you are busy on other projects. Infact, I could do a mod, but I really don't know shit about Walter...

Nick,
This is a fantastic theme - it really give Reaper a fresh feel.
My other comment in this thread was that I missed the volume control in the header of each track. I'm guessing that you do not use this volume control normally in your workflow.
Could you maybe tell me what you use instead of this (maybe you only use the mixer to change volumes etc).
I'd just like to understand why you felt that not having this control on each track was better?
Not a criticism, just curious!

I prefer to use a mixer for that. Why? Because I think every thing should have its own logical sense. An arrange view for arranging, a mixer for mixing.
Multitasking is good but not for me (only in this case)

Hey Nick - excellent theme! You've managed to make the only reaper theme I've ever seen that actually looks good with track backgrounds tinted ... this is an organisational help for me atm.
Couple questions though:
1) What meter scale settings is it designed for? (min/max value)
2) Re. the above, at what dBfs level are the track meters intended to switch colour; is it still -18?
Re. the meter calibration level and how it relates to ad/da converter calibration, it doesn't seem to me to be optimum to use -18dBfs in reaper. Converter calib levels are stated relative to dBVU which is an averaging scale, while reaper's track metering is purely a peak scale. So, if we're recording with peaks at -18dBfs, that's lower than necessary ... the idea of calibrating is that we would be normally aim to be averaging around 0dbVU in analogue, hence averaging around -18dBfs in digital (or whatever our conversion is calibrated to), not peaking at that level. I'll be altering this theme to -12 (probably) myself anyway, just felt like sharing my thoughts.
3) What volume fader range is it designed for? (seems to be -72 to +8 on my comp with shape = Default {PGF8k})

Hy. The mixer pannel can´t be shrinked at all. Is this to be expected? When I have the mixer tabed I only can see one track in the arrage view.
Great Theme. Thanks

I'm using this theme on a 17" laptop and it rocks .
Tip use action : View toggle mixer
This allows you to have a full fledged mixer even with only a single small monitor.
Thanks again for all the hard work

Thanks, great work!
Hey thanks Nick, you did a really great work, the mixer especially is excellent.
I really appreciate the fact that we clearly see what is going on on the MCP and TCP (routing, activation/desactivation, etc). There are some nice themes out there, but really a few of them are readable, due to lack of contrasts or misused icons. This one is really cool and efficient!
I would like to see the mixer in multiple rows, as I like to see almost the whole mix in one single window.
Thanks again!

Thanks Nick!
I agree with ADDIKTION, too many excellent themes out there are too hard to use. One is so washed out I can hardly see it, another you can't see the buttons until they're activated, or the icons are so cryptic I don't know what they do, or the colors are so gaudy you wonder who could look at it...

Thanks for giving me a chance to have a look at your preferred layout and at least give it a spin around the block.
I like the width of the MCP channels as they make for a nice transition across my two monitors with a little help from a sidebar menu. I also love the way you designed the Sends bin. The color and height are great in the way they make it so legible. The height of the fader section forces me to increase the height of a docked MCP a little more than I want to do. I wish that the I/O and Envelope widgets could have be packed in the Fader section somehow - maybe in a vertical orientation left of the fader. I can still make the MCP work for me.
Your preferences for the TCP doesn't work for me on this one (I prefer the Rado Vox mod) but I'm still a big fan of your work and I'll be using one of your past creations instead.

Why? Readability. Layout. Colors. Contrast. Design.
