Default ReaComp Release

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Yit...outu.be&t=1010
Dan`s vifeo.

ReaComp now have linear type release. Thats harsh type of curve. ReaComp must have smooth type of release (mastering type). And if its possible to create fader for type of release from linear type to very smooth - ReaComp just can become very powerful.

Agreed.

Here is a comparison between Fabfilter ProC2 on "Clean" style (back) and ReaComp (front).

Also a rearrangement and tyding up of controls would be desirable.

Yes please, and maybe improve the auto release.

They had to fix this kind of thing (and many others) before the v6.

It could go even further on the left side to create kind of a two-stage release, meaning the first part would release very fast and the second part very slowly. The smoothest curve would be in the middle.

This compressor is almost there for me. I agree if there were more options for adjusting the attack and release shapes, it would get a lot more use for me.
Would love to be able to use reaper stock plugs on mixes!
As it stands i do quite like the sound, just not quite configurable enough for me to justify using it over what i have
