I don't recall if I've posted any music here before, but I thought I'd post this since I have a video to go with it. Of course I used Reaper for the music, but not for the video.

you're right paul. should do no harm to look back at 'better' days. those days, when we were young and music has been an art. your 'better days' bring me back into those nostalgic kind of feelings. thx.

The music sounds very artificial.
The song relies on the images/pictures, but it fails in the end; not really +++
Sorry, but the music is good program, the set-up is great, but the result is poor.

I've waited a long time for the creator of the "Virtual Playing Orchestra"
to present a song himself. With curiosity I pressed "play":
Very cinematic sound, very emotional, almost melancholy - a fantastic
little piece of music - a truly wistful look back at earlier,
unencumbered times.

Thanks! When I first read that I was thinking "Uh Oh, with that anticipation I hope my song won't be a disappointment."

That's what I was hoping for. Glad to know it had the intended effect. Thanks!

Not madly keen on the trebly drums or high string sound but I like the overall idea. Everything else I enjoyed, nice and slushy. We need a bit of tenderness in this F****d up world.

I wonder if maybe your sound system has a better treble response than my system but I will give some thought to whether or not I'm maybe mixing with too much treble for my next project.

Slushy. Yea, I guess it is that. I wondered if the video might be too sappy, but hoped it would at least trigger some fond childhood memories for some.

I don't think so, I have playback set without additional EQ and my bass blasted ears have lost a lot of treble over the years. I don't try to compensate for that I just reckon if I can hear some treble on my stuff it must be there!
