Default How do I add rounded corners to video?

I looked at the code for image overlays and I believe should be able to add rounded corners to videos using some kind of blit, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it.

Can you please help me?

Thanks.

I'd make a suitable "frame" png and place that on a track (+ image overlay) over my vid

How would that work to create rounded corners on a video overlay (picture-in-picture)? Is there an operation to treat an image as a mask?

same thing. You can make a 1920x1080px image with the frame around the edge, then resize. Or make an image with the frame in just the PIP area.
Save the png with alpha layer. You can also do masks with black and white image.
