Record output midi not recording note end

I'm having a strange issue when recording the midi output from some plugins.

When I record the midi, it records the notes but each note will last as long as the entire midi item. So it seems like it's recording the note start but not the mote end.

Here's what the midi looks like. This was a short arpeggio played with short notes.

This is how I've got it set up. I have Scaler 2 inserted before Kontakt. I've set the track to Record: output (midi). In Kontakt, under database > db options > engine > send midi to outside world I've got "script generated CC's" and "script generated notes" selected.

I've had the exact same issue when using only Kontakt (for example, recording the ostinatum in Spitfire Albion libraries).

It did at one point in the past work as normal (i.e. it would record midi notes of the correct length) but I can't remember the point where it started doing what I've just described.

I'm using Reaper 6.14 on Windows 10 and Kontakt 6.4.2 (latest version of both).

Any ideas? I'm thinking somewhere along the line I've maybe changed a setting somewhere and it's caused this. Thanks!
