I do use that library and to however I gave it, they enjoy a lot!
+1 or +infinite, to get it natively.
It was the library that made me purchase Reaper. Because it improved 100000 times my workflow. It's really useful and immediate. Not "nerdy stuff" but productions-stuff! TOP!
MOREOVER, s for PT, I would add the field NOTES.
It's not comprehensible why should I use a script that I have to manually activate adding a shortcut etc, when its way easier to get the field already there, ready to be used. It will speed up also this. I do use that field very much, and to be able to get ti just right there, it will help a lot everybody also join Reaper leaving other DAWs

I think it could be a useful idea if the TCP FX List changed to input FX if the track is record armed.

Hi everyone, i love the idea of having the native FX list on TCP view, this allow us to mix without using the MCP view. But in this case is worth considering to add the routing column as well, like in Pro Tools or like Doppelganger did in his fantastic script, otherwise is only the half of the job done. Thanks!

Of course I wish we will have better built in feature of tcp fx list....
but for now "doppelganger"'s plugin script does it better than the built in option i think.
I just wish that I could dock it on the right side of the tracklist

Just mentioning since this has a bearing on how it works. Trading size flexibility for visual uniformity.

Pro Tools has a splendid solution for that interface topic.
Especially that compact version is impressive (A compressor plugin like "The Glue" gets a single C for compressor? - wonderful! Give me an E for my equalizer Pultec XYZ please
I don't see an argument for that size flexibility in Reaper.
With a quantized vertical scales you will get a chance to get a feeling of the values of loudness of your material. Not so when every track is or can be different.
Also related is that FR:
Align vertical scrolling to top of TCPs

I`ll upload it to stash soon.

So I finally got to experiment with the tcp fxlist. Seems like it's actually surprisingly flexible. A lot can be done with the minimum and maximum column width (param 3&4 of tcp.fxparm.font). I managed to get the list to flexibly expand and make it only break up into rows with an even number of fx (see GIF).
Has anybody here managed to make the tcp_fxparam_bg behave? It's giving me a lot of trouble on small track heights.

good job @FeedTheCat!
do you think it could be possible to have the fxlist where you placed it, at the right of the TCP, and the embedded fx (reaeq interface in your gif) starting at the left bottom with full TCP width when increasing the track's height?

I don't think it's currently possible. Hopefully it will get added at some point though.

It's a mod of ProLogix that I'm working on.
I'll be posting it soon.

is there a way to integrate this kind of thing in any theme? Or does it have to be theme specific?

I think it has to be theme-specific.

i agree ! i want to remove this and the knobs from my TCP, it's just unusable distraction to my eyes. I very much prefer a proper and elegant track inspector for selected track.

Working on this stuff myself atm, seems messy.
Some clues as to how some badly/undocumented WALTER bits work in this thread: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=239362
A cry for help/FR in the making from me here: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=246133
Fully agree with the suggestion to have these all separate:
set tcp.sendlist
set tcp.fxlist
set tcp.fxparm
And the suggestion to click in the send bar to set level (i.e. have a themeable fader, not just a knob - how I loathe knobs!)
A bunch of FRs here, mostly in the context of TCP sends but some of it could apply to TCP FX stuff as well: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=246157
