Default Dark theme where menus and plugins are also dark

Hi!

I'm using the RADO Tagi Darker 1 at the moment and like that. The default dark one work fine also. But most importantl - I want to get rid if the bright white backhroound screens that I have to deal with so often.

I would want a dark theme where all drop down menus and sub menus are dark as well. Now if I chose "File" or "Options" etc or load up a Reaper compressor it's all white and that doesn't suit my eyes very well.

Is there a solution to this so that I can work wth Reaper and ONLY see dark menus with bright text instead?

Thanks for your help!

Themes can't change menu colours.

You have to change the theme of Windows.

I'm also interested in how to do this on Windows.
Should this be more considered now with OLED displays. Especially if, for example, the action list is permanently open on one part of the screen. Burning the white of the pixels constantly. I believe now OLED is probably not the best choice monitor for DAW work, but it's what I have now.

I have windows theme set to dark mode already and it doesn't affect the menus/dialogue boxes etc.
Don't have Linux unfortunately.

I followed the instructions in this thread. It's mostly dark now and much cooler.

I also use Penumbra on both Windows 10 and Windows 11. It makes Reaper much more easy of the eyes. Even though the theme was only really designed for 10 it looks even better with 11.
