Default FR: Calculate Project Tempo from Loop Selection

let's say you insert a 1 bar drum groove sample into a new project with the intent of looping it for the whole song's duration. i would love to be able to mark the in and out points of the loop selection, specify that the selection is 1 bar long, and have Reaper automatically calculate the project's tempo based on that exact length.

as it stands now, to do this, i have to repeatedly manually readjust tempo in super tiny decimal increments until the event fits exactly in a 1 bar space between the gridlines. takes FOREVER!

any thoughts?

Sweet. Even better if the tempo it calculates doesn't HAVE to be applied to the whole project - maybe one wants to change to a new tempo, or gradually shift tempo to match some pre-existing samples.

Of course, it requires sample-accurate loop selection...
