Default Drop Marker In Record?

Anyone have a keyboard shortcut that will drop a marker while Reaper is recording?

I downloaded the SWS Extension package but I don't see anything relevant there.

Pressing the "M" key while in record does nothing. Nothing as well with the obvious modifier keys.

If there is no shortcut in the standard Reaper set up, is it possible to "make" one of my own. Might be beyond my abilities but if not, I'd try it

Thanks.

i don't know if there is an easier way, but you can make one in the action list -
press ?
select "main (alt recording)" in the selection box (top right)
type insert marker (or similar) in the filter box
add a shortcut

Pressing the "M" key while in record works fine here. ...as does Shift-M

Same here, and I'm on a Mac (so we have confirmation that it's working on Windows and Mac).

Thanks all. I am not sure why it isn't working on my Mac but I'll look into it some more. I did as suggested and made up an action key that works fine, so all is good.
