Default Color Code format or syntax in .SWSColor file?

Hi,
I am just starting to learn about the SWS Color extensions and have my first question.

Can I edit the list of colors directly in a .SWSColor file? If so, what is the format for the color codes?

I have been looking at the color labels in an example SWS Color set file and can not make sense of the numbers I found and the RGB, HSL, or next values that I am familiar with.

Code:
[SWS Color]
custcolor1=4612970
custcolor2=5535358
custcolor3=6589590
custcolor4=7838628
custcolor5=9810103
custcolor6=11585226
custcolor7=13422800
custcolor8=13820385
custcolor9=4546913
custcolor10=5862773
custcolor11=7376269
custcolor12=9217188
custcolor13=10793907
custcolor14=13028556
custcolor15=14277595
custcolor16=15198183
gradientStart=16777215
gradientEnd=16777215
How can I translate the color codes I am familiar with so I can edit the SWSColor file effectively?

Thank you!

I found this thread:

https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=271368

This explains that the colors are saved as BGR but it does not explain how the number is converted to the alpha numeric format.

Hopefully, the next person searching will find this. :-)

What does gradient end and gradient start mean? Did you have much luck getting this all working?

Format used to be 0xBBGGRR on Windows and 0xRRGGBB elsewhere. As of SWS 2.14 it's now 0x2RRGGBB everywhere (the 2 is a flag telling the new format is used).

They're the gradient colors set via SWS: Open color management window.
