Default Virtual Sound check help x32

I have been learning Reaper the past few months at a pretty good rate but there are some issues I have been running into, I keep having files go offline randomly as well as tracks diapering where they say "Empty Lane". If you can guide or help me figure that portion out I would be very appreciative.

I'm also trying to set my Mac w/Reaper up to do Virtual Sound check and I can't seem to get the audio to transmit to my Behringer X32, but have successfully set up the multi tracking from the x32 to Reaper.

I would also like to know if there is a way to make two different templates, one for Virtual Sound check and one for normal recording where it plays out of the built in output of the computer. So far every time I change the matrix it changes it in all projects and templates.
