Default Can you record midi as an output?

I recorded kontakt as a midi file and the velocity was effecting the volume and clarity, I want to play the midi file and record it as an output from kontakt onto a new track I tried sending the midi data to track 2 opening kontakt on track 2 disarming track 1 for recording ( the track with the midi file) and activating track 2 for recording, it recorded it but it still sounds like it was recorded in midi and not output
Pls help!!

While I don't understand what problem you do encounter or what you are up to ...
In any track, you can select what to record to a file: input or output, audio or Midi, ...

Right click the arm button. Set to record: output (MIDI). No need for 2 tracks.

i'm still not sure i understand, but i'm guessing you are talking about recording MIDI as audio? Why are you unhappy that the recording sounds like the playback? What difference are you expecting?
