Default question for those using reaper to edit video

i have a simple a/b cutting task and thought it might be a good opportunity to try reaper as a video editor. my question has to do with snapping and finding the edges of video frames. reaper will, obviously, work at much higher timeline resolution than the typical 30fps of most u.s. video. at 48khz, it will allow me to place my cursor at any of 1600 places in between video frames (or even finer). do i need to do any special snapping setup to make sure cuts are made exactly on the frame boundaries? or, is reaper agnostic about such things and can i expect it to round up or down to the nearest frame edge?

thanks,
BabaG

set the grid lines to frames

reaper is generally pretty good with things if slightly off the grid though.

just watch out for gaps.
