Default How to Add more than 2 local channels

I have this problem for both NinJam and ReaNinJam in Reaper.

I've been trying to add a third channel and it doesn't persist once I connect to a server. The channel works up until that point but as soon as I connect to a server the channel is non-functional (no sound coming from it).

Is there a limit of 2 channels?

Thanks everyone!

Here are some screen shots:

1) The third channel is working because I am not connected to a server:

2) The third channel is NOT working because I AM connected to a server:

Ok, I did some looking at other threads to see if I could find some clues or an answer.

Basically it seems like the common philosophy is to mix all channels prior to sending to NinJam due to bandwidth and ease of use (others having to mix you). That makes sense, but it seems like there might be cases when others do want to mix you (too many guitars? too many bass guitars? Don't like the vocalist?)

I'm thinking that the server or the client software is limiting the channels to 2 because of those reasons stated above. If that's the case then I'm totally ok with it. But if there's a way to get 3 channels, please chime in and let me know.

Here's a perfect example:

Track 1 = Guitar
Track 2 = Drums
Track 3 = Custom loop or metronome alternative

That would be better than combining any 2.

Guitar + Drums - what if someone needs to hear less of your drums because there's a second drummer in the jam?

Guitar or Drums + met alternative - i think some folks turn down the metronome or looping track in their own mixes.

Thanks

Hi,
the channel limit per user is a server side setting.
Each channel = bandwith

So that's why it is configured on the server side.
It's a simple way to manage max bandwith used somehow server side.

And to answer further, you got it, you can use a 2nd channel when u mix up rythm / rythmic part (drums, bass, keys, guitar, whatever) , and solo / main intrument on the other to give other users the ability to turn it off with a mute and keep rythm.
Well you see the idea, lots of possibilities.
