Default Contol surface - works?

Ive got an M-Audio Projectmix
Is there anyway I can get the (flying) faders and pan to work with Reaper?

Im not much of a computer person, more a musician that just wants to record and mix (hence loving Reaper!)

Any help of the 'click here' variety would be VERY appreciated!

(theoretical sequence)
1) If you do not see PojectMix MIDI ports in Reaper, check/reinstall drivers
2) You will need to switch ProjectMix into Mackie (MCU) mode, other had more luck with Cubase mode (see its manual for the procedure)
3) Add "Mackie control" surface plug-in in reaper, pointing to Project mix (there are
4) When you have success with Mackie control but want better functionality, try Klinke plug-in for MCU

There is a video of a person that has your device working in reaper, do a search by the name of your control surface.

I do not remember the address of this video.

I suppose, using CSI Reaper plugin on the long run any surface will be able to be supported in the best possible way.

According to manufacture manual they recommend using it in midi mode to be the most compatible, with the software available.

I assume you have installed the driver.

There is no magic one click to get your device working, just take 30 minutes and read what others have done and there is the device manual to refer to also.

Read this by other people in the forum regarding projectmix
