Default How to add insert FX to TCP?

I have recently seen some screenshots with people having insert FX inside their TCP. Not single parameters but the actual fx. I suspect that they can click onto them and it will float the corresponding fx window.

I apologise if this is theming related and would fit the theming subforum but I think I have actually seen this being somehow related to settings regarding fx parameters, so I guess there is some preference/option for this.

So how would I go about it? Do I just have to enable a setting? Or is it something that needs some WALTERing?

Reaper 6 allows embedding some plug-in UIs into track and mixer control panels
(UIs for ReaEQ, ReaXComp, ReaComp, ReaSurround, and graphical JSFX).

Right-click the target FX in the FX window, & "Show embedded UI in TCP" -

Is that what you meant?

I think the OP is referring to a pre-release feature.

If so this thread should be moved...

I remember that I have read about it mostly in the 6.12 pre-releases and thought it was released with the official v6.12 release.

I have now searched among some pre-release threads and here an example by another user from the v.6.12+dev0707 thread:

This however is not the only example. I just can't find others now but I remember that multiple users in various threads posted screenshots with something like this set up and I couldn't replicate it.

So is this not yet possible in Reaper v6.13?

Oh that's a pity. I hope it will be added some time.

Or maybe the screenshots came from this script?

(though they are not actually inside the TCP but besides it with this script)

Thanks nofish, looks interesting. I will check it out. Still hope they will add a possibility to display them directly in TCP to save some space.
