LV2 LADSPA native wish
I have this deep, strong hope,
Reaper for Linux one day will support native LV2 and LADSPA Plugins. To not anymore being forced to use these crutches like wine, carla etc. I don't want to switch to Ardour, which is not bad. But i think Reaper is more mature. Best Haines |

Here is a feature request thread for LV2 (Maybe make a post in that thread to "cast your vote")
Also: A previous discussion thread on this forum about LV2 support |

If you load Carla up as a VST it can host the LV2 LADSPA plugins for you and you can use them in Reaper today.

There is also the lv2vst wrapper that works with quite a lot of them.
https://github.com/x42/lv2vst That said, it would be great if reaper would load them natively!

Typing in LV2 in https://www.askjf.com/ did not exactly give the impression that this will get David Copperfield'ed into REAPER any time soon.
But i am practicing to never say never atm
