First step would be a Walter-able toolbar so that we can have buttons of variable widths, making effective icon design somewhat easier.

I don't understand how that would be useful; it seems like the toolbar would then have to update according to track selection in order to display the correct fx/sends? What if multiple tracks are selected, which track is displayed? That would use some cpu that I don't think is worth using in order to gain functionality that we already have on the mcp. Or would you select which parameters from any track would be displayed constantly?

Are you yearning for a track-inspector type thing but in the floating toolbars?

Sorry man, I'm not getting it

And please more knobs on the mcp.

Infact walters controll of the ext parameters should allow you to split them up into , Fx , Sends ,Fx param , and dedicate them space on both the Mcp and tcp.
