Constrain Slice Length : Please explain !

Dear Reapers,

Can someone explain to me what these 2 functions exactly mean / do in the Dynamic Split Items window ?

Constrain Slice Length:

- left to right
- best to worst

I looked them up in the user manual but they are not well explained.

Coming from Ableton Live, I am in the middle of learning how to "warp" complete songs (with steady and unsteady bpms) in Reaper the easiest and best way and i have to understand each Slice function in Reaper well to make the best of practising this "warp" proces.
