I've got two, an XV-900 that I added their Retrotron pickups to, and a stock XV-700, bought as a blem. The XV-900 is awesome, near magical, although it it did have a couple of finish issues. It came with the older, nasty-looking plastic tuner buttons and pot metal badge. I replaced the tuners with GF Kluson klones, and painted the badge in fake bronze patina, it's a hell of a looker now. It has chime clean, and Young bros. growl dirty, a great sounding guitar.

The 700 was bought as a blem, and while many people (dozens of buyers on the harmony-central forum) report they can't find the blem, ar had to look hard for it, mine was battered, and had numerous tool marks, a blotchy fade, and sagging finish on the neck near the joint. Still, plays quite well, and sounds great, brighter and smoother than my '78 Les Paul Custom, but quite worthy. Also, it weighs about 5 lbs less . At $180+shipping, you can't miss.
No photos, as of yet.

I wish I had gotten one of those lovely semi hollows before they were discontinued. Even if they needed some fretwork or had some blems it would've still been worth it just to have good pickups installed stock in a cheap semi hollow. Changing pickups in a semi is a nightmare.
I don't own any of the Xaviere guitars, but I have a bunch of different models of the GFS pickups in various guitars and I like all of them. They make some really cool pickups, not just for cheap ones, they're just good.

i got an xv-700 and love it. i wasnt a fan of the crunchy pats installed, too hot and edgy for me. i replaced them with dream 180's from gfs and now it sounds beautiful! i love the size and it is a lot more comfy to play than a real lp sized guitar. highly recommended!

I don't own one (yet...), but I did just replace the pickups in my Schecter Omen with GFS Mean 90's. Gives my guitar a really unique sound - not your usual shred machine. I've read mostly good reviews about the guitars, but just remember, they are a "value" guitar for the price. they;re not going te be the equivalent of a $2000 Les Paul.
But for a $200 guitar, they are a lot of bang for the buck.

Actually, I do own one now, ... I bought one of the XV-870 "Darkside" versions from the clearance section for $121.00! A ridiculous price for a pretty decent guitar. Black "strat" style with white pickups and knobs, and an unfinished neck with maple fingerboard.
I ordered it on a Thursday afternoon and had it at my doorstep on Monday (though I only live about 20 miles from the GFS warehouse).
It certainly might not the same "quality" as Fender's own version of the David Gilmour Strat, but I didn't pay $4000 for it, either. This is a great value guitar, built very solidly. The pickups are voiced to be vintage single coils, and get great "stratty" sounds. The tremolo is pretty much useless and goes out of tune with the most minimal bends, which is typical of these lower priced guitars, but I don't use it anyway.
I highly recommend these guitars to anyone looking for a decent guitar for very little money. I'd compare them to the more expensive Squiers.

My XV-JT40 is pretty cool for the price, though I've honestly had better experiences with Agile guitars for similar $.
It's hard to knock either brand, though.. They're both amazing values.

... and I am putting a full set of the GFS Lil Killers in the XV-870. They're basically "clones" of the Seymour Duncan Hot Rails.
Everything I've ordered from GFS has been delivered within a week, and works great. Highly recommended.
