select the track, go to the fx plugin main window, right click parameters, find the pitch related parameter for the plugin you're using, it could be tune if you're using battery 4, then choose "show in track controls" from the parameters menu of the fx plugin window

It dosen't work all the time i want to use Reasamplomatic but unfortuantly it sounds nothing like FL.
I tried using grace sampler also TAL i did not get the sound i'm looking for so after many motnhs of searching i came across Nuance and it works but i'm looking for away to do it nativelyin reaper.
Judging by "like in FL studio" I guess OP wants to use two overlapping notes doing porta\legato effect. FL has special "slide" notes for native plugins, but it can be achieved with any synth\sampler that has monophonic legato glide option.
lolz-- yo,wuts up with just importing long sampled 808--and using the item pitch envelope?
808's were always sampled--+ there was also rack mounted novation drum station-where 1 can twiddle the pitches-realtime = it's varispeed pitching-i thunk.
I have gone trough it believe me ..... and literally every other thing on the web... but i do think there should be a easier way to do it, as a producer i also see a lot of beat makers turn to reaper now a days more many reasons than one, and this should be breeze to do with all the functionality in reaper.

lolz-bruv-quoted miself to remind you how easy it can be in reaper--it's varispeed transposition..try the item pitch envelope--it does the job well--+having long sustaining samples is the key..you can even overlap items in the same track-to achieve legato type slides--you dont actually need any other vst-or sampling device for this-
please do not ignore the options available-*or posters* that try to help..thanks is always nice..sometimes.?

Sorry if i did not see your post and did not look into it further, But the reasons for using sample 808s because i have a huge collection of 808 samples, seems a bit though but is there any vedio examples "Sorry a novice here"
Sorry if i did not see your post and did not look into it further,
lolz-npz..but therein lays yee problemo- try looking and using that wonderfull, intuitive brain you possess>?
no vid-yet.but maybe..there could be...?

After trying at it for so long my wonderful brain dose not want to understand, that such a easy task requires so much of work, Plus people who are using envelopes and many other tricks to do a simple thing, its just to much for me, i ended up buying Nunace to do the job, but i guess asking for help is a bit to much as many user always think there way is the best and the most easier, i'll keep an eye out for the Vid mate thanks again.

lol? 'does not want to=no dice..
heh- i got a roland 808 module..+ could do a reaper item env video-to demo--but then,that's i doing the work + efforts? not you/ as a user?
i dont think the original 808's slide m8--it's a modern trick fyi.
and seriously, you paid for extra unit/softwares to specifically do this simple task? bruv lobotomy, sharpish, seems in order indeed..heh.

Yahh I actually use Nuance as my main sampler as I come from FL, reaper really lacks a proper sampler in my opinion, i also went ahead and tried the item pitch envelope as you suggested and it's no ware near to the sound that you whould achieve with slide note of FL or the slide function in Nuance.
It shouldn't be that big of a deal to empliment something in Reaper which basically is a user's daw I switched to reaper because of it's realable, customiseble and simple to me atleast
😐 Now I mean after a year if using it.
I'm a producer and little production tools and tricks should be give to reaper especially with Reaper 6 on the horizon
with reaper 6 on the way hope slide note feature could be introduced some how that will be off the hook.
lolz-it's old as the hills-pitch sliding-+should be a standard native feature in all daws {imo}

Honestly i love Kenny's work around, and it gives me a sort of the retro 90s synth 808 vibe which is usable in its own way and i made a few Beats trying it out,but being a trap producer like me you would understand that you would want to use your own 808s, and still do cool slides with out the synth, i have posted a video on the comments of Kenny's video to see if this could be done NATIVELY IN reaper https://youtu.be/I8HsfEIHmjk
??????????????????
i'm sorry john i'm really not technical or anything but i do still to this day use Nuance for my 808s and its sufficient, and i believe doing normal pitch bends shouldn't be that big a deal for reaper,
FYI i found out how to pan them midi notes Lol "it was easy"
