Default Reaper for Live Guitar

What Actions do I need to do to:

1. Select a track
2. Unmute it
3. Remute it when I jump to another track

I am hoping to use Reaper for live guitar effects.
I want to change between the eight tracks with different effects.
My midi foot switch works great.
But for the life of me I can’t find the right Actions.

Thanks

Exactly for this purpose SWS LiveConfigs has been created. -> https://www.bschnell.de/LiveConfigs_1.pdf
Nowadays, there are other option such as ReaLearn or a bundle of JSFXes (I once provided).

I managed to work out what Actions were needed to jump through
the tracks with my DIY Arduino midi foot-pedal .

First I setup 8 tracks with guitarix vst installed with 8 different presets.

The Actions used were:
1) Track Select track
2) Item properties: Solo exclusive
3) Track: Set automatic record-arm when track selected.

I hope this is of help to someone.
