yeah you need js 984 for that core,I did not update it yet. there is also WIP folder on my git (also 982 ATM)

Well for me that light blue area would be clear enough.
But let others chime in!

EDIT: I think we would need to try out in practice, just to see if that works.
A cursor can still be added later on, right?

I think this certainly would be ok, but I think changing the cursor would be a little more "obvious" and feel a little more comfortable.

I agree with Stevie though, we would probably have to play with it a little to see which one we preferred.

Yeah, I will just replace the drawing line to draw cursor

Btw you can access the latest script (both scripts) on my git WIP folder. I've fixed the issue with latest JS_API so it will work now with latest versions

I'm still mostly working on core script, functions script is very poor ATM and may also have bugs

For testing its coded to keys 1,2,3,4 and ESC

4 is copy (items only ATM, did not yet implemented pasting envelopes even the data is stored in AS)
1,2,3 switches active AS
ESC removes AS

WARNING: Its full of bugs, and some graphical stuff have some issues... its a WIP (item shadows are not fully implemented, you will get lots of graphical glitches, they are not removed from memory ATM)

Also ATM there is no point to report bugs now since I'm still fixing core and adding basic stuff and I mostly know what things are broken/not working as it should
If anyone sees something that can be improved (both scripts) let me know

well.... I'm not a graphics or UI guy but what will be needed is for now:
1. Creating AS icon
2. Creating multiple AS
3. Resize
4. Move
5. Delete AS
6. Maybe some sort of indication what AS is currently active (1-9) ?

Don't know what else ?
For now 1,3,4,5

EDIT: will check that stash links you guys posted (stevies looks cool)

Yes +1 ,I think better like this for copying individually each selection. For multiple selections,it might be better with actions copy all - paste all as the gifs show at previous page.

About cursors, it would be nice if at the edge of the selection appear something like <-> and to the middle a hand which will indicate selection drag-move.

Is AS going to work with Automation items ? If so it would be nice if we could also copy-paste or duplicate only the points selected inside the AI.
I think the selection,if we want to select only the points inside an AI, could start at the height of the envelope lane and for selecting both the AI and its points to start from the space below where we draw the AI(or to drag down from the envelope lane to the AI lane).

yes,script looks what is IN selection on tracks,as long the track is visible it can manipulate with it. Workin on key intercepting/Setup script atm so keys wont be hard coded anymore
