LX49+ fader #9

Hey guys;
I have the Nektar Impact LX49+ set up with Reaper (v6.14 x64).
I would like to have fader #9 on the LX49+ control the Master output volume without having to press and hold the Master/Track button.
I get why some might want it set up this way, but for my use, it is confusing. I end up inadvertently changing the current track when I want to change the master.

I have read over the manuals, and haven't found anything about changing this.

Have you tried creating a user preset? I've mapped fader 9 to plugin params with Learn, but I don't think there is anything like that for the master track.
