Default TC Electronics driver for TC 4000

I have searched and found the latest way to install the TC Electronic driver
in my computer. (Windows 11).
Unfortunately the "way" has not worked for me.
I used my 4000 just three days ago as I had it connected to my windows 7 computer.
The difference in quality between that and a plugin is just so obvious.
Could anybody out in the world of writing drivers do so for the TC Electronics
4000 reverb?
What would it cost?
There must be many out there who would rather have updated drivers?

Default Interface

Cheaper and faster way is getting an audio interface with digital I/O.

Yip got one of those Wallaby
Just that the sound seemed to suffer when I used RCA connectors with SPDIF in my Orpheus?
Thanks for the reminder though that said
I used to attach the digital side and was not impressed.
Have you got one yourself?
Actually I have a Prism Sound Atlas now and what a beaut.
mmmmm it is like my Orpheus has got
1 x RCA 1 x TOSLINK for S/PDIF or ADAT Optical input; (RCA can operate as AES3 input using XLR-RCA adapter)
Digital output 1 x RCA 1 x TOSLINK for S/PDIF or ADAT Optical output; (RCA can operate as AES3 output using XLR-RCA adapter).

I see the TC 4000 has ADAT.

Now I am all at sea....
Have you any idea which method above would you recommend? I used to read up about this sort of things.I think ADAT was better than SPDIF?
ADAT is that the way to go?
Looks like only one ADAT port on the Atlas, but two (In and Out) on the TC 4000.
Are you able to advise Wallaby?
Thanks for chiming in.

MMMm I see the ADAT ports are underneath the SPDIF ports on the TC 4000.
I have ADAT Cables for that I will run them and see what I think.
Thanks for waking me up a bit Wallaby!

Default TC 4000

I have one but not at hand.
I did use it for live gig and in the studio connected with Adat.
You need both ports In and Out.
Adat or SPDIF makes no difference in sound quality.
Adat can handle more different sample rates.
In the Interface and in the TC4000 system settings you have to look for the clock settings.
One must be master ( clock-mode internal) the other one has to sync (slave clock-mode external Adat optical).
No rule wich one.
I would set the TC to external sync and the interface to internal clock.
Everywhere the same sample rate 44.1 kHz (this is what I use, you may use what you prefer)

Adat is a 8 channel bus and as the TC is a stereo unit it probably use just channel 1 and 2 of these 8.
You have to find out wich channels those are in your interface for routing the DAW.
