Default Why a computer monitor instead of a TV?

I've seen a couple vids/articles talking about colors, crispness and potential lag time during interactions (which I can see that being an issue for gaming and other tasks), but when it comes to music production, are there real, significant reasons to use computer monitor as opposed to a TV, especially with as cheap as TVs are getting?

TV monitors do get called into action occasionally. But, for one, their resolution is geared at sitting 10 feet away and not 2.

I use a 50" Samsung 4k TV for the TCP, a 19" monitor for the MCP and a 17" monitor for dockers and various windows. It works exceptionally well. Since my setup is one big room, the TV is very helpful during tracking to provide visual cues to performers as well.

The only drawback of the TV is its audio output is optical only, and the optical input on my audio interface is already connected to an 8x8 ADAT interface. But the TV speakers don't suck too much... If I want immersive sound for TV viewing, I can always fire up the PC and watch Netflix/whatever on the TV with a browser and listen through my monitoring speakers.
