Default "Current" Track like in FL Studio?

Hi guys,
I'm making a transition from FL Studio to Reaper and one thing i really miss is the "Current" track function in FLS mixer.
For those who don't know what this is, it's a special track that only receives the output of the currently selected track (without sending it to the Master). This way, as an example, you can have only one analyzer and a vu meter loaded, and just by clicking on a mixer track you can have feedback only for that one.
Is there a similar function in Reaper, or maybe a workaround to achieve this without having to manually mute sends or receives all the time?
Thanks in advance for any reply!

there's no equally smart solution for this currently in Reaper. However, you could send all your tracks to a dedicated "analyzer bus track" instead of sending them direcly to the master track and then do all kinds of measurements by soloing tracks in various ways (i.e. by using different keyboard modifiers while clicking their solo buttons to solo them incl. send fx or without). If you are also using fx like reverbs directly inserted into tracks, it will be quite complicated to solo those tracks without their insert fx with a single click.

You'd also need dedicated instances of the analyzing plugins in the master track's fx chain in this scenario to measure the master track's output signal including the master track's fx.

There is a solution.

There is a script on ReaPack from mpl called "Monitor selected track with track 1" which does what you need.
