To be honest, I have not had any time in my studio this week. I'm about to do some work on a new mix now though so I'll give this a run.
What changes have you made in 0.4.0?

Looking forward to 0.4.0.
I finally got time in the studio to test 0.3.0 and must say the LFO slow setting is now perfect.

Will it be possible to create a univibe (or even leslie) effect with stunning phaser? (If so it would be great to see it as a preset).

Trust your in-depth perspective with Phasers …. and my current awareness is minimal.
Recently got almost no-cost Phasis from NI and have not yet explored it.
Can you note some salient AQ_Stunning Phaser capabilities I could/should focus on tp help me decide on adding? (actually, at this cost, will likely add regardless … )

Many THX! Appreciate this detail, which I can now focus on.

We'll definitely have presets for that eventually. But to set it up now, turn the Stages to 4. Resonance to zero. LFO Waveform to sine. Env Follower Off. And Dry/Wet Mix at 100% for Vibrato or 50% for Chorus setting. There's a Univibe. You can play with the Detune and Sat controls too. You might want to roll off a bit of bottom end on the effect with the Wet HPF control. Mod Inv off. Mono In and Out for authenticity (or keep it stereo if you want). And adjust LFO Rate and Depth to taste.
Excellent! Thanks for the settings, I'll give them a try.

Wow, Admiral Quality still exists? I miss my old Naive LPF filter that crashes in Reaper...

Ok, I'll give it another go-round. I can load it of course, but I experienced many crashes while working that pointed to Naive, so I stopped using it. Scamp looks cool too, but my filter collection is too large and my income too small to justify such a purchase atm... Thanks tho!

I wasn't really in the market for a new Phaser, but it is stunning -- and the price was good. Thanks!

Poly-Ana looks great also. If I had known about it earlier, I might not have spent so much $$ on other VA synths.

And yes, Poly-Ana is uber. Every synth player should have her. (Stunning Phaser is currently bundled free with Poly-Ana. If you bought SP already and end up wanting Poly, let us know and we'll refund your SP purchase. In fact we'll probably notice it and do it automatically but let us know if we don't.)
I did indeed purchase Stunning Phaser.

Thank you for the generous offer to apply the SP discount retroactively if I purchase Poly-Ana! I am primarily a guitarist (and a hobbyist at that), but have started to dabble with VA synths. And I really have gone overboard lately spending $$ on every good deal that comes around. I don't want to annoy my wife by purchasing yet another VST ... but ... well ... maybe just one more wouldn't hurt.

Heh heh ..... gotta pay attention

Updated to Poly-Ana 1.3.1 Demo and all OK.
Couldn't get going with Stunning Phaser until noting that its VST download is 'above' the OSX version, while Poly-Ana's is 'below' the OSX. My bad ….
Downloaded the proper version and all is fine.
Enjoying Stunning Phaser more fully with cool tutorials posted above !!

Purchased Poly-Ana in 2015 and all I can say is that it's worth the money. Really a wonderful synth.

I also have Phasis and actually really like it too. It is a very different animal to Stunning Phaser though and I'll be using both regularly (already am actually).
I really like the envelope follower in Stunning Phaser and with some careful tweaks of the filters and other settings, it is easy to add some program dependent 'randomness'.

I also have Arts Acoustic Big Rock which is a spot on emulation of one of my all-time favourite physical phaser pedals, the EH Small Stone. Again though, it is an entirely different flavour compared to Stunning Phaser.

I have a bunch of other phasers and flangers both hardware (I love the flanging effects possible from the Lexicon PCM41 with its envelope follower) and software. They go hand in hand with what I write and record in my studio (lots of Berlin School style electronic combined with elements of prog rock, jazz and classical).

One thing I did do a few days ago while playing around with all the software options I now have is to update my tape flanging REAPER chain and create a 3D Ambisonic version of it. SEVERAL HOURS later, I realized I had gotten totally immersed in this and forgotten to eat and sleep!!!

To end this reply, I must say that Stunning Phaser is finding a unique spot in my arsenal of such effects and I REALLY like it!

Many thanks @ ReaDave !! Gotta go ahead with Stunning Phaser given such glowing support.

Soundtoys5 includes PhaseMistress and their current 'trade-in' credit offer for existing products is fairly strong. I will surely have a strong arsenal of Phaser tools shortly.

I appreciate your consistent help and follow-up.

Your website is looking really good - effort most definitely worthwhile!

Loving the slow rate LFO.

A couple of small points:
- the value readout is really tiny, perhaps that could be made a little more read-friendly
- the preset pane is incredibly tiny as well, any chance that could be bigger too?
- some presets! I've wanted a good MXR Phase 100 emulation for ages and have no doubt this could emulate it by someone sufficiently knowledgeable in the details. Given the now large number of controls I think the idea is justified. Even if most of the presets were simply demonstrating how various controls can be used to achieve various effects that would be extremely useful

thanks

Ok, thank you. This may seem odd, but i'm still waiting to see a new improved GUI before trying and buying it
