Default "Drum Drops" MIDI tracks

Hi folks, does anyone know where to find generic MIDI drum tracks to jam along with in various styles like to old Drum Drops LP records? A quick search showed me that Drum Drops is now a sample-based operation, but I was curious if there is anything like that available in MIDI form, as that's a lot more "portable". Thanks for any info on this.

Drum Drops are now shipping all of their Kontakt sample based drum kits with over a thousand midi loops... So buy any of the kits and u get over a 1000 midi grooves with it

... or get an old copy of Steinbergs Groove Agent 2. (Not to be confused with the Groove Agent thing that comes bundle with some Cubase versions. That is a whole different thing and works only within Cubase.) Best GUI ever for your purposes. Comes as VSTi and standalone.

Honestly ALL majors kinda do this...AD2, SSD4, SD2, EZD2, MDrummer, Jamstix, BFD 3,GA4

They all allow you to select a drum kit and play along to human grooves w/ fills etc.

How well each does it, well thats a matter of opinion ....

Yes Groove Monkey is good, some MIDI library makers are bullshit, GMonkey makes good, competent stuff. I have a house MIDI library from them and it's perfect, covers every standard house beat you could think of
