Default Using multiple themes.

Is there a way to set up a theme to use the specific requirements of the creator and revert back to the reaper defaults that reaper comes with.

I'm only talking of the specific settings of various themes.

I don't understand your question, but if someone else does and gives you an answer, please do not then delete your question.

I believe the OP asks:
Creator 'A' of theme 'B' suggests that his/her theme is best used with Reaper settings 'C', 'D' and 'E' set to some specific values.
Is it then possible to revert back to Reaper default settings?

This is almost what I mean. Here is what I'm thinking theme "A" requires a,b,c,; theme "B" requires c,d,e; this would occur upon loading a specific theme with no manual change of settings, automatically.

What theme has C, D & E?

There is NO C, D & E. You only get A, B & C

Now if by chance it does have C, D, & E does it also have the A, B & C?

I ask this because maybe C is A, D is B and C is E!

Maybe something simple as this custom
Load theme slot 1
Load window set 1
And put a hotkey on it or button

Adjust the parts you want with ctr E and save the screen set

A, B, C....hmm....yeah...that could work. But, I was wondering about 1, 2, 3. Which made me think of the old joke; Why was 10 so frightened? Because 7 ate 9. Wow, this thread really makes me think, man.

I think I get what CDS is saying. For example I use iLogic with a specific toolbar. When I switch to the Default theme (or any other theme for that matter) that toolbar retains some of the icons and others get replaced making the whole thing look messy and not consistent. It seems the only way to clean it up is to make modifications in multiple ini files - or retain copies of the original ini files and go back and rename them, which no one will do as it is time consuming.

Not a themer nor do I want to be but would like to have consistency if/when I change themes.

That is exactly what I'm saying it gets so messy trying to use multiple theme when the different creators think their creation should be the one and only one on a users system.
With so many fonts included in Window's why do they need an additional font.

Why would this be hard to accomplish?
