Default About not seeing new JS Loudness Meter

I updated to Reaper 6.36 last night, then started to watch the Reaperblog videos about the recent updates.

I noticed in one of Jon's videos (6.30 update) he shows the new JS Loudness Meter.

This is not included in my plugins list.

Not sure which action I need to take aside from the normal download Reaper(x64) then install, boot up Reaper for rescan, then go. Note: Using Win10.

Can someone enlighten me on what I still need to do.

Cheers, Bill

Should be there...try putting loud into search field and make sure you're searching all plugs or js plugs not VST for example.

Maybe just worth clarifying if you see any other JS plugins too.

Yes, I see 100s of JS plugins listed. I searched "loud" as well as "meter" from "Cockos", "JS" as well as "All Plugins" and "New". Still nothing.

My "Loud" search listed a few JS fx: Loudener, louderizer, ReaLoud.

There are plenty of JS plugins to choose from, but no Loudness meter.

I also checked Reaper(x64)/Install Data/Effects/Analysis - not there where loudness meter should be located.

I also checked a portable install in a Reaper folder I have separate from Reaper(x64); those contents remain unaffected by the 6.36 update.

BTW Reaper displays v6.36 so I have the latest version. The other new 6.36 functions do work: normalize, Dry Run render, master meter loudness.

If Jon hadn't shown it, I'd never know. I do have Tracks5 metering so no biggie.

NOTE: I also checked earlier v6.30 + 6.35 in case this JS plugin would show up. Nope, it did not.

Installing and running a slightly older version of REAPER, and then reinstalling and running your current version might work (see also this topic).
