Default How to render to non-interleved files?

Hi,
I'm looking for the most reliable way to export my 5.1 projects into separate (non-interleaved) wav files, instead a single 6ch wav. Working at a bitdept of 24 bit is easy to overshot the infamous 4GB limit for the wav format. Reaper can deal with it but almost no DCP authoring tool can accept them.

In other words my goal is to obtain 6 separate files from my 6 channels track in reaper.

movie FL.wav
movie FR.wav
movie C.wav
movie LFE.wav
movie SL.wav
movie SR.wav

or

movie 01.wav
movie 02.wav
...

Currently i route every channel of the 6ch track into 6 separate tracks and then, via the render matrix i can obtain the 6 files.
Does reaper offer this feature in a more convenient way?

it doesn't, even if you just want stereo as two mono files.

I use the AudioMove software for multi-mono. So you'd take your 6-channel render and drop it in this app to get you 6 mono wav files.

get it here - https://public.msli.com/lcs/audiomove/

Demo video I made - http://reaperblog.net/2016/03/quick-...audiomove-app/

Drag and drop, can't be easier.

Maybe the RME Multichannel WAV File Batch Processor does the trick for you:

I don't have any surround projects to test on, but you do

Is this still the case in the current Reaper or is there now a way to render a stereo mix as two non-interleaved files?

?! Um... There's never been a problem or limitation with this.

Route your 5.1 bus to 6 tracks. (Or stereo bus to 2 tracks.) 1 channel to each track. Render those 6 tracks. That's it. Route as you please. Choose your output tracks you wish to render (using "Stems/selected tracks" in the render window)

Still works. Even after 2 years! Even after 12 years!

check in action list:
Item: Explode multichannel audio or MIDI to new one-channel items.

1.Render interleved 5.1
2.open new project and save it
3.execute the command above
4.check the output folder ))

best,
Kipras
