Not as advanced as the last one
I was just thinking while listen, that here could some BV vocals be good, and then there were some in another place.
Funny how we put BV in different places in the song.
Well, this could be good as most of your stuff.

Thanks my friend. I supposes it's midly more complex in the breakdown in the middle but you are right... I just framed the chords for the most part in VS/Chorus - might expand those later or just let the bandmembers do it when it's time for them.
Which means I'm impatient... if they drag their feet, I'll be writing their parts.

Sounds really good to me! nice changes, flows well. Sounds like the STONES. With the right attitude interjected, could be killer.

Sounds real good, I like it
There's a passage begins D,F that almost had me wanting to sing "no time...." Guess Who
Look forward to hearing it fleshed out

Thanks, I appreciate the listen. I ended up changing/adding a few things and reuploading because I couldn't resist because like I said, impatient.

Ahh. So that's how it's done.
You did all of that in one night?
Damn!!

I had spent some time with my pedalboard looper just trying to suss the vs/chorus changes off and on a couple days leading up to recording. That forces me to stay focuses, keep it simple and not get sidetracked with recording technicalities. I didn't move to reaper until I thought I might at least have a basic vs/chorus chords idea.
It was two nights'ish in Reaper really, mostly record the first guitar track and get a loose arrangement, hang out and listen (420 ), hear an idea in my head, add it as a track, record a track that wasn't doing it's job, rinse/repeat until 4 AM LOL.
So it isn't all at once in a night, more like two + the occasional update. Don't worry, my streak will come to screeching halt like they always do.

Got an almost instant Guess Who meets 54/40 vibe here. Been listening to Canadian Classic Rock lately by any chance?
You are on fire lately. This is super catchy, high energy rock and roll. The band is going to love this one too. Hopefully you guys will be putting together an album once you have enough new material together. It'll go into regular rotation here for sure.
I need this kind of good rock and roll in my life now.

Ha! Guess Who didn't cross my mind at the time, but I noticed the resemblance later - Super great band!! Never heard of 54/40, so checking them out now - OK I've at least heard I Go Blind.
Well that fire may be out as I'm struggling tonight ... Time to read my "never give up" note on my desk over and over.

It's better than the Hootie version .
Check out the songs 'One Gun' and 'One Day In Your Life'. Killer tracks.
You'll get 'er back karbo. Never give up. Never give up.

Hey Karbo. I think this is the best of the songs that I have heard that you have posted. Every piece of it is well developed. The vocals are very good, especially some higher notes toward the end. There are really good guitar riffs that are not trite (hard to do). And of course, it's well recorded, which would surprise no one who knows about you. The only thing that I hear that might be done a little differently has to do with the vocals when you are not really pushing hard. On some of the softer parts, you are tightening your throat down, perhaps to try to get your voice to break up (to get a gritty sound?). To my ear, that doesn't come across as 'natural' or maybe the word is 'sincere'. That all chages when you start pushing harder later in the song, where the vocal is completely convincing emotionally. I'm left wondering how it would sound if just relaxed more on those softer parts. Its a tiny thing -- and what do I know anyway? And it is all a matter of taste anyway. Still, this is so good that small things matter, and maybe even an unschooled opnion will be useful.
Overall, masterfully done.

Hello my friend and thank you!
You are correct about the vocal. The singer in my band is supposed to eventually sing it and I was trying to give him a template, but if he doesn't sing it, then I'll go back and fix that tightness. Good catch and yep, you are right.
