It's just that Cockos shouldn't make the Theming process "so hard"on Themers, to make a Reaper Theme 4k/ macbook retina compatible.
I mean, is it that hard to make theming compatible with every screen resolution that exists, including the high end such like 4k / macbook retina ?
So a Theme adjusts automatically to the screen resolution that Reaper is used on ?
Cubase, Logic pro X, Studio 1 v3, they all look insanely good on my macbook retina, and i'll bet they look also great on minor resolutions.
What is their secret that Reaper doesn't have ?
I am totally no graphic expert, i also don't want to be.
I just want a GUI that looks "optimized", for every computer i use, that uses every screen resolution you can imagine.
Maybe i am demanding too much...

I have wondered how difficult it would be to "convert" an existing theme to be usable with Mac Retina screen. Maybe all the folks asking for a retina compatible theme should pool their efforts and do the convert suggested by blankfiles, or is it not as easy as he made it appear, unless you are a good coder?
Justin had earlier commented that 4k compatibility was not on the drawing board yet, so maybe as an interim solution?

Right click on the transport, go to interface and uncheck center controls.
That should do it.

Been using this theme for a few days, and it's incredibly well thought out. I really like the colour choices in particular. My only criticism is that the MCP tracks are not scalable. I like pretty tall faders/VU meters, especially on the master track. However, they're all super tiny. I find this odd considering that this is a theme for large monitors. I'm on 1080p, and I imagine I would probably barely be able to see the tracks if the resolution was any higher than that, haha. All together a really good theme, though.

Oh, is that an option for the free version or just the donation version. 'Cause if I could get the faders and VU meters taller, I'd definitely drop money for this.

Hi Blankfiles!
I just was on the search for the tempo-tap-button in the transport. Isnt there any??? No big deal, but would be nice, if there would be one. Or did I miss something?

There's also a LOT of space here on the master track. A layout that enlarges the VU meter would be sweet.

I really like a lot of the ideas in this theme. The main problem I'm having is there just isn't enough contrast for me. There is so much gray background with white text, it makes differentiating things difficult.
Here's the same view in iLogic and iLogic Next. If iLogic Next would have more color for contrast I think it would help this theme greatly.

Wow man,
I just wanted to say, what a really awesome theme. I totally dig what you
did there with the toggling between two different toolbars via buttons -
ingenious.

I was waiting a while as well. Later I found out that it was sent to the email associated with the paypal account that is used. My paypal is in my wife's name, so it went to her inbox. I was confused for a bit, haha.

It's a good theme. I had to adjust some minor things in the rtconfig file, but other than that it's been great!
