FB360 Spatializer Plugin Crashes Reaper when video loads
Hello,
I am attempting to add a narration track to a 360 video using the FB360 Spatial Workstation plugin. I am using this method... https://youtu.be/pLk53pXNrHg I have the entire process down cold, and following all instructions here, and in the FB360 manual to a T... but Reaper crashes every time I load a video into the Spatializer plugin. Here is a video of the entire workflow. I went through the loading of video/crash twice to show that the error repeats the same every time. https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/v...aper+Crash.mp4 Using Reaper 5.978/x64 I have both VLC (3.0.6) and FFmpeg (4.1.3) installed Windows 10 Pro 64x RTX2080ti (Studio Driver 430.86, I have attempted this same process with roughly 10 diff drivers at this point.) Intel i9-9880xe 128GB Ram As you can see in video, I am exporting to Quicktime DNxHR_LB. I have also attempted to use ‘myFFmpeg’ to convert the original video file to DNxHR_LB as well. In the event viewer, there are two event errors that come up when attempting to load any content into the plugin. ID 10016 and ID 56. Here is event info for ID 10016: Log Name: System Source: Microsoft-Windows-DistributedCOM Date: 6/3/2019 3:51:31 PM Event ID: 10016 Task Category: None Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: SYSTEM Computer: OVRx Description: The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Launch permission for the COM Server application with CLSID Windows.SecurityCenter.WscDataProtection and APPID Unavailable to the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM SID (S-1-5-18) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). It seems you are not alone in having issues with the FB360 tools. There are a number of threads in this section from others experiencing crashes with it. I've not used it yet myself so can't comment from personal experience but hopefully something can be figured out.
The first thing would be to find out whether the issue is with the plugin itself or with REAPER.
