"Audio Device Closed"

It won't open it just won't leave. I've tried re-installing reaper and it didn't work. Re-installing the driver and it didn't work. My interface is a TASCAM US-800. I am using my JBL Computer Speakers as monitors. The audio system on the "WASAPI" Setting, so I can do that. This was never a problem. Now, all of the sudden the audio device is closed and nothing works. I am on a Quad-core System with 4GB of RAM (upgrading to 8 soon) Help Please

in screenshot 4, the tascam line, right click it & select enable!
in s/s 1, click on audio system, wasapi & see if tascam is available to select?

Maybe an obvious answer, but did you reboot your system?

I've tried it, but I realized this is for enabling "MIDI." Therefore, it does not affect the fact the "audio device closed." THE TASCAM has been selected.

Yes I did. still "audio device closed"
