Default Control Reaper via Android phone

I'm a one man army, so when I record my vocals, I have to hit record in Reaper, run into the booth, get the headphones on, and then spit. Not fun, but it's what I've had to do. Is anyone using anything specific to control Reaper via their cell phone?

I've seen some threads here about the iPad (which I have), but that would cause contentions with the wife since its hers Any apps on Google play (android market) to achieve this? I have a Galaxy S2 - it's a beast of a phone. All I really need to control is the record and stop buttons. Maybe being able to move the cursor fwd or back also. Any ideas? I'm looking for real world experience here so I can get a feel of the pro's and cons.

Can this be done via wifi? Over the net? I guess I don't really need realtime action here, but it would be nice. I appreciate the repsonses in advance!

Thanks. So whats all this noise I hear about osc and being able to control Reaper via devices with it? Any reason to use osc as opposed to these apps?

(1) Keeping the values of parameters in sync at both places, which requires 'feedback'. Currently, OSC does provide this for most parameters (i.e. mixer, plugins); but not (yet) for 'learned' actions, though.

(2) Interoperability with a plethora of other OSC-aware music apps.
