Default Add new section in the middle of existing song?

Hey all -- looking for some help here. I have a full song completed but just realized I left out an entire verse. I want to go back and add in 4 bars in the middle of the song and have everything to the right just automatically shift 4 bars right.

In other words, I dont want to try to drag all my existing tracks 4 bars to the right because I have like 15 tracks and tempo markers, etc and im worried of messing up the timing.

Is there an easy way to just insert a few bars into the middle of the song? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!!

Here's how I do it

1. Create a 4 bar region
2. drag that region where you need it

the rest of the song will shift and start at the end of the region (the end of the 4 bars)

highlight the area in the timeline you wish to amend,
right click and "insert empty space in selection"

Thank you both so much! I figured it was an easy question but for some reason I was struggling to figure it out.

I've got about 10-15 hours in now with Reaper and the learning curve is starting to pay off. Plus it's nice having a community/forum like this as well. Cheers!
