Default Behringer X-Touch Universal Control Surface

Hi people , i am new to this forum and i would like to introduce myself and here is my question.

I have seen a lot of people posting about this control surface from behringer that reaper does not support it with the standard mackie control protocol , and i keep seeing this Klinke version of it but as far as i am away its only available for windows.

Is there a version available for Mac Osx or an alternative way to get this control surface to work.

i like reaper a lot and dont want to be changing daws

Default Reaper, osx and x touch working ok

Hello,

Im am on osx el captain, x-touch, reaper 5 and more

x-touch is working for:
-play stop etc.. and transport command like cycle, marker
-automation modes
-utility save undo etc..
-Some learnable buttons to learn to actions in the "global vieuw section" on the x-touch"
-faders, pan, rec, solo, mute, select
The synchro is good

My settings:

On the X touch itself:
-X touch, if I remember well ,l was set up in "MC mode" (see Behringer manual or blogs to know how to do it)

In Reaper:

-Go to Preference; Control/osc/web: add a control surface :
Mode:Mackie Control Universal
Midi input and output: Behringer x touch INT
Map F1 to F8 button checked.

-Go to Peference; midi device: Disable the "x touch" status (IN and OUT!)

I hope it can help some of you. Unfortunately I'm not an expert in the Control surface domain and I can't remember where I had these infos.. Or if I'm forgetting something in the setup here. Good luck cool Reaper community!
