Is there a way to change how overlapping events look?

In Reaper when you have overlapping events (audio, for example) it doesn't mark the overlapped area clearly (there's just a tiny triangle in the lower left side corner and a tiny line on the right side, but no color change or pattern change for the entire overlapped area) so it's very difficult to know where they happen. Is there a way to have Reaper highlight or mark all overlapping event areas? Thanks!
