Default How to hide JS from FX browser?

Hello.

My question is: How to hide some files that FX browser shows as JS, but there are not plugins at all. Hiding by adding # or other symbols to the name with Preferences menu isn't good enough for me.
What could you say about editing reaper-jsfx.ini and how to edit it in a proper way?

Thanks in advance.

Hi

I filter my JS by adding them to favorite by right click (add to favorites).
Or put the desired jfx in a folder and then add the folder to fx browser.
If you don't use the certain jfx, simply delete it.

These files are used by other plugins.

What kind of files are they and how are they used by the plugins?

If they are imported code file they should be named as *.jsfx-inc to be hidden from the FX browser.

Note that files that are designed for import only (such as function libraries) should ideally be named xyz.jsfx-inc, as these will be ignored in the user FX list in REAPER.

No, there are not jsfx-inc file, only txt or files without extensions. Well, some of the plugins are ATK(Ambisonic), which I don't use frequently, but I don't want to delete them. Could you please recommend me the way to handle with it?

Okay...assuming the "Options/Show in FX list" isn't hiding everything...
here's what to do:

In Preferences > Plugins, there's a place at the very bottom, to screen out things.
There's a particular way to type things so pay attention to that.

For example, to "hide" anything w/the letters "ATK", and to hide all text files, you'd type this:

NOT ( ATK ) NOT ( .txt )
(note where all the spaces are, and you'll see how it works)

Peace,

Keith
