Default All midi items are always automatically selected

Hello,
whenever I close a midi window all midi items in a track will get automatically selected. This is quite problem. Sometime when I forget this reaper behavior and I move one midi item in the zoomed project I don't notice that other midi items in the track will move simultaneously. That sometime creates mess in my project..

thank you if any suggestion

Are you saying that even the MIDI items which were not selected in MIDI editor will get selected in the main arrange when you close the editor? That shouldn't happen unless something is wrong.

excatly, that what happens. I select just one item (others are unselected), go to midi editor, close midi editor, all items are selected

Can you post your MIDI editor settings from Preferences/Editing Behavior/MIDI Editor, maybe a screenshot?

By the look of that Prefs page you don't have the latest version of Reaper. Try the latest one?
