great !
thanks malcolm

(and, BTW, glad to see Akoustic's theme on the first page, this definitively gives REaper much more uniqueness and identity).

Yes, I agree! The old generic Windows 95 looking GUI was okay while REAPER was still in beta, but now with the user customization that can be done it has really taken on it's own unique character. I have been amazed, by the look, of some of the user customized REAPER GUI's lately.

Thanks for the REAPER user manual Malcolm, it is really top notch!

Cheers,

Billy Buck

Any updates to the manual? We need a good explanation of all the options in ReaTune to use it more efficiently as an Audio-to-MIDI converter.

I'm currently working on the MIDI Editor topics. I won't be able to write anything about ReaTune until Justin and Christophe finish it, and I work out what it is and how it works myself.

Sorry.

Yes - and the new version of Reaper that appears on the top page is:

Version 1.666...

(may not want to change this even as the manual is updated)

Is there a down-loadable update also available?

Not an update - just the full file. Either PDF or CHM.

Default French Guide

Could the french newbies expect a french manual?

Or a tutorial?

PS: c'est qui qui s'y colle? Je débute dans le cheap home studio, je nage dans la semoule.
