Sorry, but what's the difference? I already have an ftp server so I use that and mp3 links stream directly into the browser for me.
I mean, I click a link and it streams from a browser window so... I don't see the issue ... (screenie) ...
Why use box.net if you already have a server? Thanks.

Hey, Catalin good to see that you got MP3 running!
I can't really give you much more advise - listen to your favorite bands, listen to a lot of music. Get a feeling for what sounds good to YOU and try to get the stuff you mix to sound good to YOU.
I personally love a clear mix, no matter what music style it is. I like it clear. Your mix sounds muffled to me.
Can't really say anyting else than that. I'ts an ok mix in my ears. Too much drums (snare is really hitting it hard), even in my ears. But thats it. :-/ Just make it so it sounds good to you, compare to your favorite music, think think think. Mixing is really a subjective process I believe. In the end the stuff has to sound good. And good differs from person to person.

Ah, got it. I have to download all files though, I see a link, click it, firefox prompts me to download it. Kinda overkill compared to a flash player.
Something going on on my end I guess.

I'm using FF also. You can set that up in options. Audio, midi, mp3 all play in FF from links.

Gotcha, thanks!
Unfortunately my Quicktime is borked and it shows me a black bar with invisible controls (that I can use for a funny reason, hehe).
I just made it auto-open my audio player, 1 click, its ok now.
Thanks!

my desktop computer actually had the same exact problem. if you update the quicktime plugin in FF it will fix the problem and quicktime will display correctly again.

It can end up with more dynamics, depending of how you set up the attack/release settings.

Yes, the idea is to let the attack through, then squash the rest, to help give you a bit of a pulse rather than a droning bass (those open Es were like a sine wave generator!).
A late attack is fine in theory, and works great for drums but I was having trouble with the bass because ReaComp lets you sculpt the attack, but not the decay. Maybe if you set the knee really high and compress hard after a late attack you get a curvy decay, but it didn't seem to work like that.

I know I'm totally late on this one (I've been really busy with work and been on vacation), but here's my mix:

I've got the .RPP file if anyone wants to see it but I've used some non-reaper plugs so it may be a bit useless.
Either way...hope you like it and of course...comments are more than welcome!!!

Hi all, I know that I'm terrible late but I would like to make a mix.
Anyone can put again online the original multitracks, the link in first post is dead.
Thank all!
