Default Need FX help

Hi, first time posting, long time hobbyist. I'm looking to emulate the vocal fx of Fitz and the Tantrums sound from the song Hand Clap. I have used JS: Distortion (Gain 15, Hardness 1.0, Max Volume -15.0) and DX: Sony Express FX Reverb (Room type Metal tank, room size 20, Liveliness 15, with 31.8% reverb) to get the start of it.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, that's probably the right kind of thing. There's not a lot of reverb on the track? - and there's some kind of doubling on that distorted vocal I think?
The question is - does it sound right to you?

Not quite. I can't quite describe the element I feel I'm missing. Maybe I'll add a little more distortion and reverb. It's almost like I'm missing a sharpness in the tone.

Often a good idea.
Have you tried multiband distortion? eg "mda Bandisto"
