Default Midi editor navigation problems.

I opened the midi editor but it doesn't share the navigation shortcuts I just programmed into the arrangement view. Is there a way to fix this, or to even re set up navigation controls within the midi editor? I looked at this forum... http://forum.cockos.com/archive/index.php/t-98052.html but it's a few years old. I'm hoping very dearly that there's a way to fix this as I've just spent a lot of time setting up keys and macros and use midi a lot, and would be crippled if I have to deal with two different navigations within the same DAW. Please help? Even a ReaScript that does the trick would be nice, or even a third party midi editor if that's what it took.

Think I found it over here. http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.p...ht=midi+editor

Still kinda ridiculous, would be great if this wasn't necessary.

In the MIDI editor, go to Actions - Show action list...

Then type 'pass through' into the Filter box

You'll see the action 'Pass through key to main window - 40401'

Select it and add the shortcuts you need.

That should do it.

Here are some EEL scripts I've made for navigating:

EEL: Scripts for navigating (f.ex. "move to next beat", "go to beat x")

EEL: Move edit cursor to start of next/prev MIDI note
