Default Reaper + Celemony Melodyne, problem with setting playback position

Hello. When I click on the time bar in Melodyne to set the current playback position, the global position does not change in reaper. And, as result, playback starts from old point and I should to go to the main window and click on the time bar there, and it is really uncomfortable. In other words, the plugin can not send the command for changing position or reaper won't receive it. Could you assist where is the problem can be?

a work around is to use a control surface or midi controller linked to reaper's transport.

Been that way for years. I have not know it to work differently. Ya, kind of a pain.
