Default file render option "use project sample rate for mixing". What does it mean exactly?

Greetings.
Should it be checked or unchecked? Does it make inside-FX oversampling useless and absent?

I found only this in the manual..
`Use project rate ---- Enable this to automatically use project sample rate for mixing/processing.

One use case is you can have automatic oversampling when rendering.

thank you for the example

but without any argue, I don't get it at all, why oversampling...

ok, I get it, for example when master is clipping and you want to get less distortion in an output file..
And... is this the only purpose? should be strange this way
or you need to change a sample rate in an output file. ok, so I guess it means it should be off by default? and I think it's on... ok whetever..

The Nyquist frequency is higher with higher sample rate which may result in less aliasing in the audible range.

This video is quite controverse I think but it deals with some of it iirc
