Default 2.0 Beta - CPU Munch at end of project (FIXED)

Okay, I mentioned in the beta thread that I was having this problem with my CPU being trashed when playback stops at the end of the project. It's been doing it since Beta0 and it's still there in Beta5. Schwa suggested it could be a specific plugin so I've done some testing...

I did some experiments with various single plugins to see which would trigger the CPU munch and they all did. Tried VST, VSTi and Jesusonic plugins with exactly the same results. Bypassing the effect doesn't stop it from happening and once it's started, even removing the effect doesn't stop it, in fact in many cases that made it worse.

Pausing or stopping playback mid-song doesn't cause it. It only happens when playback stops at the end of the project.

Clicking Rewind, Play, Pause or Forward on the transport cures it but clicking Stop doesn't.

Moving the edit cursor with the mouse cures it but moving the edit cursor with the arrow keys doesn't.

Seems that some keyboard navigation shortcuts cure the problem and some don't. For instance, 'Previous marker/project start' cures it but 'Move cursor to left edge of selected item' doesn't and neither do the 'Tab to transient' actions.

Moving focus to another app causes Reaper to use no CPU but as soon as I go back to Reaper, the CPU jumps back to where it was before.

My system:
Pentium 4 2.4GHz, 768MB RAM, M-Audio Delta 1010 running 44.1kHz

EDIT: Forgot to re-mention that turning off 'Run FX when stopped' fixes it.

FIXED (2.0)

OK I just updated beta6 with a fix (if you downloaded beta6 before now grab it again, the changelog in the new installer notes this fix as well)
